re: contemplating the void

BUBBLE IT UP! This installation aims to change the interior of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in NYC into a huge playground. A strong nylon net is hung from its balustrade and filled up with hundreds of redish-colored gym-balls. People will be able to hang out and relax on these balls in the middle of the atrium or even jump-dive into them. Also, by filtering and reflecting the light that penetrates through the museum’s skylight, the whole interior is “painted” in a red glow. So giving it, for a short period of time, the color the museum initially was meant to be painted in.
