BOOKSHELF-TABLE is a presentation and storage device for books and magazines. Designed for a publisher, it can be used for presentations in shops, galleries, or even at home. The asymmetrically shaped donut form provides variously exposed spots on its side as well as a display surface on top. The bookshelf-table is made out of a series of 12 mm, CNC-cut plywood panels, which are put together in a slotted waffle-construction method. It is a self-supporting structure, and is held together without any screws or nails. The bookshelf-table consists only of a repeated and varied primary structure; there is no hierarchy among the construction elements.
